Be yourself, F**k the Society

All week I had been thinking of what write for this yearbook and just a second ago, it hit me.

A wise man once said “beauty is being able to say ‘F**K you’ to the society (#sulibreaks),

Beauty is not perfect, beauty is not being shirtless,

Beauty is writing a program for days and when it says error after its being run, you start all over again,

Beauty is being able to be yourself and decide on what and what not to do, even when the society says otherwise,

Beauty is being able to say no when everyone else says yes,

Beauty is courage, brave and can win an argument without saying a word,

Sexy is not beauty, but beauty is sexy.

Beauty is laughing just some minutes after you discovered you failed a test,

Beauty is studying for years equations which you might never see in your life again,

Beauty is writing exams with thousands of people and being among the few to be admitted

Beauty is listening to the lecturer n hall where oxygen is a luxury,

Beauty is writing 6 different exams in one week and passing them all,

Beauty is failing a course and having the courage to come back and re-write it,

Beauty is seeking help from a fellow student, when you couldn’t understand a topic,

Beauty is telling your course rep that he is a cheat knowing fully well that he can make you fail a course,

Beauty is the course rep covering up for his fellow students in front of the lecturers,

 

Many beautiful people I’ve come across ended up alone,

Because beauty is cheated on, abused, underappreciated and misunderstood.

There are a lot of haters and bullies all around who will always hate and find fault with whatever you do,

Bullies are losers because there always something you have that they envy and want for themselves,

It can be skill, intelligence or confidence in being who you are,

Find out what that thing is and make sure you get better at it, cos that what is going to separate you from everyone else

And that’s what makes you beautiful.
