“I Love You” The Most Abused Sentence

I really love reading stories about love, romantic novels and all that. In fact I used to steal those adult romantic novels from my school library back then, I loved reading Nick Carter, James Hardly Chase etc.

Most of these novels ends up with the hero getting the girl and this gave me hope that one day I’d be together with that pretty girl I had crush on..lol

Anyways It was really disappointing when I grew up to face reality and the greatest disappointment I had was seeing how the sentence “I Love YOU” was being used to mislead people.

Funny enough it seems as though everyone wants to be told that, pitiful.

Hatred Everywhere

I look around me and there is stench of hatred everywhere. Everyone is unhappy about something, hateful of something or jealous of another thing.

The funny part is that it seems as though no one is an exception.

Even the rich signs and curses every minute of the day, this makes me ask myself “what on earth made this rich man curse this way?”

I still don’t know the answer to that. Everyone is hateful, makes me really sad though cos my friends too are no exception, even I am a victim to this HATE.

Be Different, Let Them Laugh!!

 

Whenever I look around me all I see is people trying as hard as they can to blend in and that makes me sad.

Everyone is made different, why try really hard to change yourself and who you really are? It just doesn’t make sense to me.

When you look at the mirror do you see someone else staring back at you? Why then try as hard as possible to copy someone. You are made different so be different.

I walk the streets every day I see young kids trying so hard to blend with their peers, they drink alcohol because their peers says it’s the real deal, they smoke and chase after anything in skirt because that’s what their friends are into.

I pity them because if they know the potential they had, they wouldn’t be wasting it.

Your Parents Owe You Nothing!!!

I was out with a friend of mine earlier this week, we went to visit his friend whom he said had graduated from the university about two years ago but is still looking for job.

He said that the guy had invited him to come for a drink, well I don’t love booze at all but I love the meat that comes with it and so off we went.

At the merriment joint where we sat and ate with some other friends of his, we started talking about graduation and life after school,  since I was still a student I did more of listening and asking questions.

Parents Please Listen To Us!!

How would you feel, if you are talking to your child and he keeps on doing what he is doing without even considering your opinion?

How would you feel, if after explaining the reasons behind your action and your kid went on to do the exact opposite of what you told him to do?
